Soul story of Joe Gardner, a high school music teacher who has a sudden accident and is involved in a cosmic experience to find the answers to life’s most important questions, has Disney viewers bewitched.

Soul, a Pixar film, released on Disney + in times of pandemic, has captured the attention of children and adults alike, who are witnesses of how Joe is transported to a new plane beyond, where, to find his way back to home, he must enlist the help of a child soul and learn about himself.

Directed by Peter Docter and starring Jamie Foxx and Tina Fey, it premiered in December and in a few weeks it became one of the best films on the animation giant’s platform, causing a worldwide sensation.

This is the third consecutive film that Peter Docter has directed for Pixar and was chosen for the Official Selection at the Cannes Film Festival. The previous titles, equally successful under his direction, were: ‘UP: An Adventure of Height’ (2009) and ‘Intensely’ (2015). In addition, for both he won the Oscar for Best Animated Film.
